A leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment and systems are currently looking to recruit a Design Engineer for their South Wales site. This company supply high quality products to blue chip clients and are a household name globally. You will be working from the South Wales Facility and within a highly skilled maintenance team and you will be responsible for the maintenance of the manufacturing environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
Mechanical & Electrical repair of production machinery Planned Preventative Maintenance – Inspections and repairs, including specification of replacement components and inventory management Project work – New machine installations, process improvements and energy saving initiatives Undertake Dynamic Risk Assessments of maintenance activities Maintain safety standards within the department Carry out maintenance activities within the confines of safe working practices
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Apprenticeship in Mechanical maintenance *Experience working in a production environment *A good understanding of manufacturing processes
