They are currently searching for a Pain Specialist Physiotherapist to join their team in Luton. You will be an experienced, motivated and a forward thinking HCPC registered Band 7 Physiotherapist with an interest in Pain Specialism with strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
As a Physiotherapist you will be working closely with our Pain Specialist Lead and Physiotherapy team/ESP team to deliver high quality, individualised, evidence based care to all patients, maintaining accurate records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards, maintaining confidentiality, privacy and dignity of patients and share your experience and knowledge with other team members.

The Role
As a Band 7 Pain Specialist physiotherapist you will be providing in depth patient centred biopsychosocial assessments, for people presenting with a range of complex and long-term conditions which may include:
– Persistent nonspecific low back / neck pain
– Persistent low back and leg pain or neck and arm pain, that is non concurrent or does not present a surgical target
– Widespread non-Musculoskeletal pain / Fibromyalgia
– Osteoarthritis
– Psoriatic Arthritis
– Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder
– Neuropathic pain post chemotherapy
The Person
You will be an HCPC registered Physiotherapist with previous experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy as a Band 7. You will be a pro-active learner and you will be supported in your development in this field. You will have strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

This role is based in Luton and is commutable from Hemel Hemstead, Ayelsbury, Hitchen, St Albans, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Hitchen, Leighton Buzzard
