Alecto Recruitment are working currently with a well respected and well known Digital Signage provider. Our client are currently looking for an experienced AV engineer to work alongside their team of audio-visual experts on state-of-the-art projects for some of the biggest brands in the UK.

They specialise in the design, provision, commissioning, and support of AV services to clients all over the UK. They are an award winning business that strives to provide an exceptional level of service to their ever-growing list of high profile clients.

The Role: In this varied role you will be both office and site-based, working on the installation of bespoke audio-visual and digital signage equipment inside a wide variety of businesses around the UK.
You must have experience working in either Commercial/Corporate settings within AV, or have experience already Installing Digital Signage. You will also need to be able to think on your feet and come up with ways to solve problems, as every site you will visit is different.
You’ll need to produce or fill in documents and record information regarding installation and commissioning both in the office and whilst onsite, so you should be reasonably organised and have good computer skills.
You’ll be working around the UK, so overnight stays will be required. You’ll also be required to work at heights using ladders and platforms.
Key responsibilities: * Installation and servicing of audio-visual equipment * Pulling & terminating cables * Filling in documentation
Key Skills: – Strong DIY skills and ability to use power tools – Strong computer skills – Comfortable working at height – ladders/platform etc. – Good problem solver/logical thinker – Regular travel/overnight stays
– CSCS card – Basic electrical or electronic experience – Good IT skills – An eye for detail
Package:
Basic salary up to £38,000
