Key Stage 2 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Northampton
Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Northampton area to find a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism.
The candidate for this role will get maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work. Use given strategies, in liaison with the teacher and under their guidance, to support pupils to achieve learning goals.
The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:
Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special
Needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
Assist with implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
