Role: Maths Teacher Location: Hull and East Riding Start Date: September 2022 Salary: £120 – £180 per day* GSL Education Hull are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work within a Client secondary school in Hull, from September term of 2022. This is a great opportunity for a Newly Qualified Teacher looking for their induction to be completed, or to gain more experience before seeking a permanent contract, or for a Fully Qualified Teacher seeking a change in pace, better work-life balance, or simply after a new challenge. As a Maths Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Plan and deliver Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths.
Help devise an engaging and creative Maths curriculum.
Use all available resources to engage young people, including ICT and online resources.
Follow the ethos and policies of the school, promoting positive behaviour throughout the School.
Promote independent learning for all pupils.
Take part in staff training days, staff meetings and parent’s evenings.
Minimum candidate requirements:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have recent experience teaching GCSE Maths in an education setting.
Be able to provide 2 professional references, relating to your teaching within the last 2 years.
Be a passionate educator with an understanding of how special educational needs affects young people’s teaching and learning methods.
Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
