Samcra Resourcing Looking for Accounts Assistant at LS19, Yeadon, City and Borough of Leeds Full Time

Reporting to the Financial Director in this role you will be responsible for the accounting function of the company.

The successful applicant is likely to have experience across all areas of Finance and would suit candidates who are part or fully qualified.

This is a varied role with a lot of autonomy, you will be comfortable with setting your own priorities and managing your own workload.

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Banking including foreign exchange and bank reconciliations.
• Nominal ledger.
• Sales Ledger.
• Purchase ledger.
• Credit control.
• Payroll.
• VAT returns.
• Preparation of Management accounts.
• Preparation of Annual accounts.
• Management of one staff member.

Skills and Experience required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data.
• Strong spreadsheet skills.
• Well organised.

This is a full time, permanent position based in Yeadon Leeds. We offer a competitive salary with contributory pension and life assurance schemes .

Standard working hours would be 8:30  – 17:00 Mon – Fri.
