Permanent Hours: 35hrs p/w Days: Monday- Friday
Location: Flexible working – 50/50 split between home-working, and 175 St John Street, Farringdon
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Inclusive Learning and Development (L&D) team, part of our People & Culture Team, and coordinate the development and delivery of non-clinical skills learning for all our colleagues, along with supporting the organisation to develop a learning culture.
The role supports and works closely with the Head of Inclusive L&D to provide coordination across several learning and development areas. You’ll help bring our newly published learning and development strategy to life by working on the key focus areas which include further enhancing our induction and welcome experience, coaching and mentoring, management and leadership, equality, diversity and inclusion, and apprenticeships.
You’ll be able to communicate with people at all levels, work to deadlines and multitask to deliver projects. Organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, together with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, good interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion to make a difference.
What will I be responsible for in my new role?
support the Head of Inclusive L&D with the coordination and delivery of the ‘Welcome to Place2Be’ induction, learning programmes as well as career pathways
support apprenticeship schemes and serve as the first point of contact to support provider and learner, and provide update sessions to continually promote the benefits of apprenticeships
support the People & Culture Team to coordinate management reporting against L&D KPI’s, reporting on Learning Hub, Cascade and eLearning platform data and provide to required teams and stakeholders as necessary
lead Place2Be’s annual work experience programme, working with the young people who attend the placements alongside other departments across the organisation to develop and deliver a work experience programme that provides young people with an experience of work and enables them to develop the workplace skills that employers are seeking
About You
The successful candidate:
You will:
have the knowledge of L&D policies, procedures and best practice
have experience in delivery of face-to-face learning (in person and online) using appropriate facilitation methods to engage and involve learners
have the ability to build effective relationships, both internally and externally, showing sensitivity for others’ viewpoints and valuing
diversity
have the ability to plan, prioritise, use own initiative, and meet multiple deadlines
