Your Pay & Benefits:
Permanent job paying £31,250.00 per annum (Plus additional standby / call out payments for weekends. You will be on weekend standby 7 times per year) Full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on shifts 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am. Overtime available and paid at premium rates.

Job Details:
Working as part of the maintenance team you will ensure that production continues efficiently by conducting preventative, scheduled and breakdown maintenance works.
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will be issued maintenance jobs that will involve repairing machinery including working with hydraulics and pneumatics, stripping down and rebuilding mechanical assemblies, machining new parts and ordering parts as required.
You will be involved with new machinery installations and problem solving.
Working to preventative and scheduled maintenance plans.
As part of the team, you will be available for weekend call out to the shop floor on a seven-week rota.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:
Previous experience working in a similar role as a Mechanical Engineer / Fitter is essential and candidate will preferably have heavy engineering experience due to the shop floor machinery that you will be working on.
You must be either an apprentice trained, or time served Maintenance Engineer / Fitter.
Candidates should have a ‘can do’ attitude and be a natural problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.
Ability to follow instruction and work safely adhering to health and safety at all times.
