Title: Senior/ Lead Fire (and Security) Engineer
Location: Essex, London and some Home counties
The Company:
My NSI Gold Client are based in Essex and hold a longstanding reputation for developing unique and bespoke systems for their customers. Even though they have been established over 40 years they still have a family feel which allows them to build long term relationships with some of the biggest names in various sectors. Predominately focusing on the Security sector including CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm solutions. They are now gaining new contracts on the Fire side of things and want a Lead Engineer to come in to not only complete the work but help grow the division and progress to become a Fire Division Manager!
Package:
Up to £45,000 basic for the right candidate
Company Van or potentially a 4×4 truck
Rare call out – but is expected to participate
20 days holiday increasing to 25 + bank holidays, happy to negotiate for the right candidate
42 hour week
Laptop / Mobile phone
Travel paid after half an hour each way
Main Responsibilities:
Must be confident and happy to work on Install, Maintenance, Service and Commissioning of a variety of Fire alarm Systems
Completing works in a calm, time efficient but high quality manner
Completing relevant paperwork in line with British Standards
Be part of an on call rota, rota to be discussed but very rare
Being customer facing, dealing with customer requests
Good communication and customer service skills
Carry out works on Security Systems where required (CCTV, Intruder alarms, Access Control)
Working on already established Commercial, Luxury Brands and High-Net worth properties
Knowledge and experience:
Ideally 10+ years’ experience in the Fire and Security Industry
Full UK Driving License – no points desirable
Previous experience in a Senior role or looking after other engineers
Hold FIA’s or have a formal Commissioning qualification
