Able Bridge Recruitment are once again partnering a Scottish drinks business that have a global footprint and are at the top of the industry in terms of quality and prestige.
We have been asked to assist the business in the recruitment of a 12 month fixed term contract financial analyst post, which will sit in one of our clients remote locations.
The role will report into the head of regional finance and will be suit a newly qualified ACCA/CA/CIMA accountant.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to provide real time and relevant financial information regarding the performance of the business. You will be liaising with all levels of personnel of the production facility from top down. Your input and analysis will be used for critical decision making and commercial maximisation.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Analysis of cost factors such as energy usage in an upwardly cost sensitive era.
Collation of data in regards to the amount of raw product being used for production.
Support the consolidated financial results of the business units results (with a view to combining KPI analysis).
Recommend and implement process improvements resulting in cost savings and efficiency drives.
Build strong relationships with operational and back office functions to drive the agenda of the local and corporate finance agenda.
The Requirements
We are seeking a professionally qualified accountant who will probably (but not exclusively), come from an accounting/audit background. The role is a highly financially analytical post, however the successful applicant will be a people engaging individual who has confidence and desire to interact with the business across the board.
