Are you a qualified English teacher seeking to join a state of the art school and looking for an exciting career challenge?

Academics are currently seeking an English teacher (those with experience in years 7-11 and NQT/ECTs may apply) for a Secondary School in Wakefield. This is a temporary position for the Autumn term with high possibility for contract extension.

Candidates should have the following:

* Be a UK Trained Teacher or have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Have experience and in-depth knowledge of delivering English lessons within the UK National Curriculum, and have a proven track record of working with students in Key Stage 3 and 4
* Hold an enhanced DBS Certificate registered to the Online Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics
* Be flexible, adaptable and have a reliable attitude as well as strong behaviour management
