Key stage 1 – Barking and Dagenham – September 2022 Start

Academics are currently searching for a primary teacher ideally with key stage 1 experience looking to work in the East London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. ECT’s/NQTs are encouraged to apply as well as more experienced KS1 teachers. This position will be paid on the inner London main pay scale starting in September 2022.

Are you looking to teach a Key stage 1 class in Barking and Dagenham?

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to work with a lovely key stage 1 class in an Ofsted rated “Good” primary school. While key stage 1 teaching experience is not essential it is an advantage. Strong candidates looking to teach their first key stage 1 class will be considered. Therefore, ECT’s/NQT’s may apply as well as more experienced practitioners for this primary position.

The selected candidate will get to teach a key stage 1 class from September in the East London borough of Barking and Dagenham. The primary school will be interviewing for a 1 year fixed contract potentially going permanent after your first year on the inner London main pay scale.

The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has been going from strength to strength in recent years. The reason for this is the strong senior leadership team put in place with an experienced head teacher who operates an open door policy with their staff. The head teacher expects high standards from staff and students alike and has instilled a positive ethos throughout the primary school.
