Reporting to the Department Head, the purpose of the role is to take responsibility for all aspects of stock control in order to support the Field Service department, Part Sales direct to Customer, and Workshop requirements.
Duties will include:
Maintaining the workshop stores on a daily basis – inventory, stock counting purchasing, goods receipt and issuing. Monitor and control stock including consumable items
Processing, picking/packing and despatch of customer part sales.
Although not the main focus of the role, a strong sense of customer service is required, as contact with customers will be necessary.
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of how warehouse stores operate. An understanding of fast turnaround for urgent parts supply is required. Knowledge of vehicle / automotive components, especially hydraulic and mechanical is a distinct advantage. A strong sense of responsibility is required, in order to maintain an accurate stores, and help build working relationships with regular customers and other staff members.
Base hours are set at 40 (Mon-Fri).
