Our client are a high-end electrical, audio visual & custom integration company based in London. They work with architects, developers and end clients on some of the countries most luxurious properties.
This role will cover the London and Home Counties areas and you will be expected to 1st & 2nd fix projects whilst working under a lead engineer. You will receive on the job training in programming and commissioning systems. Courses and certificates will be available to you when you are considered ready and show promise.
The work hours are generally from 7:30 – 4:00 with a 1/2 hour lunch break. As a project progresses from a building site to a finished home with clients taking residence the hours may vary.
Responsibilities and Duties
1st fixing AV cabling
2nd fixing AV equipment
Terminating data, coax, speaker outlets
Hanging TV on wall
Mounting projectors & cinema screens
Lighting control keypads & touchscreens
CCTV cameras, Intruder Alarms and Access Control
Reporting to your lead engineer on site.
Learning from your lead engineer through the programming and commissioning stages of a project.
Qualifications and Skills
Good communication skills
Motivated to work and learn on the job
Not afraid to ask your lead engineer questions
Asking your lead what to do next once you have finished a task
Assist your lead on fault finding & problem solving
Don’t hesitate to give your opinion on a problem
Salary and Benefits
£23,000 – £27,000
