Altro have a fantastic development opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our friendly Technical team here in Letchworth Garden City. This a permanent position working on site Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

So as a Quality Technician, what will you be doing?
Working very closely with the operational teams, you will proactively develop existing quality systems and drive continuous improvement.
You will provide process support to the production team to improve the manufacturing processes, raise quality and minimise scrap.
You will carry out laboratory testing of Altro products to ensure compliance with appropriate UK and International standards as well as support the Quality Manager in ensuring compliance to ISO 9001:2015.
Who are we looking for? Someone keen to kick start their career within a Quality role. A ‘practical brain’ with a ‘hands on’ approach. We need an excellent communicator with the ability to resolve any issues or problems. Experience within a manufacturing environment would be ideal and someone that understands a manufacturing process. We work together here at Altro so being a team player is key!
