Our client is a globally respected engineering organisation, providing white collar, blue collar and engineering services to many sectors including energy, aerospace, marine and defence.
As an Order Controller, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external customer delivery within the Value Stream. Managing and validating the demand lines in the planning system, you’ll review updates and changes to 3rd party demand and communicate delivery commitments to your customers.
This Order Controller position is available on an initial 6-month contract. The role will be working at our client’s Derby site.
Key Accountabilities:
The Order Controller will be responsible with measuring and driving adherence to the commitment accepted plan
As an Order Controller you will be maintaining SAP and supporting systems.
Supporting the Planner in constructing, reviewing and improving Performance vs On Time in full, arrears recovery plans& recovery constraints performance
Requirements:
Strong MS Office skills, specifically within Excel and PowerPoint
Good knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP
Engineering background ideally, however not essential
Experience working on a shop floor or similar environment
