Transport Route Planner – Warrington

Our Warrington depot are currently recruiting for talented Route Planner to join the team!
Our Brakes Route Planners are the people that help to keep our network running – they not only love to find solutions, but they ensure that everything we do enables us to deliver on our promises to our customers and exceed expectations whilst working together as one team and having some fun along the way!

The role includes:
Day to day route planning and scheduling – achieve set KPI targets
Ensure vehicle utilization within budgetary targets to achieve set service levels.
Provide reports to meet deadlines
Driver/Telesales/Sales liaison
Customer service
Ensure scheduling compliance with current vehicle and tachograph legislation
Compliance with Health & Safety and Hygiene legislation
You’ll have:
Route planning experience, preferably within a multi drop delivery business
Excellent administration and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines
Experience using Transport management planning systems and implementation of those systems
Proficient computer skills – Word & ExcelKnowledge of driver working time directive regulations
