Aspire People are currently seeking a passionate Secondary SEND behaviour mentor to work in the SEND department of a large mainstream academy working with KS3 and KS4 students. This is a full-time role working from Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 3:30.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Working on a 1-1 basis
*Working in small groups or in the class
*Supporting the main teacher
*Building good relationships with the pupils
*Managing students’ behaviour
* Positive reinforcement
* Engaging students to complete their work
If you are passionate about working with children or young people and have experience in this industry, we want to hear from you. You need to be committed, a good communicator and willing to work with young people who have social, emotional and mental health needs.
All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.
