The role is for someone with a drive and passion for finding solutions, leading and delivering all manners of change projects in the investment field, from process automation, data analytics to ESG and climate risk. Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst within the investment management industry (in insurance, pensions, fund management, consultancy etc.) and associated technical experience of the end-to-end investment management process with a focus on investment strategy and mandate implementation, systems and data management, reporting and portfolio strategic direction.
A bit about the job:
The Shareholder team is responsible for Aviva’s investment management capability. By helping the Group produce outstanding risk adjusted returns relative to liabilities for shareholder assets (c. £65bn), the team delivers investment solutions that millions of Aviva customers rely on in retirement.
This high visibility role is encouraged to drive the transformation/change agenda and governance management for the team across a broad range of activities as well as providing investment input/support.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Relevant business degree or equivalent, recognised investment or financial professional qualification or part qualification e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), actuarial etc. desirable
- A track record of owning delivery of change tasks; and senior stakeholder management and influencing
- Experience in data and systems engineering concepts and principles; data integration and management
- Planning, documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques
- Strong written / oral communicator and demonstrable documentation; strong analytical skills
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £40,000 – £75,000 depending on skills, experience, and qualifications
