Role & Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and periodic financial reports.
* Perform variance analysis to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial data and insights.
* Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Conduct financial research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Key Skills:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
* Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (IFRS, UK GAAP)
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Insurance experience required
