Bennett & Game Recruitment Looking for Bookkeeper at Kingswinford , West Midlands Full Time

Exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our client, an Accountancy Practice located near Swindon on a full time, permanent basis.

They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client’s team on a full-time basis 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of professional qualifications and practical experience, demonstrating proficiency in AAT Level 4 or equivalent, along with a strong accounting background.

Bookkeeper Position Overview

• Conduct day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare VAT returns and management accounts.
• Handle client enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide support and guidance to junior/trainee team members.
• Occasionally visit clients for face-to-face meetings, demonstrating confidence and professionalism in client-facing situations

Bookkeeper Position Requirements

• AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in practice, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence in client-facing interactions

Bookkeeper Position Remuneration

£26,000 – £30,000 dependant on experience and qualifications.

22 days holiday + bank holidays

37.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday
