A Geo-Environmental Consultant opportunity has come available for engineer/consultant with geo-environmental or geotechnical experience within either a consultancy or contractor which will give you the opportunity to deliver consultancy projects from inception through to completion within the head office in Warwick.
The role as a Geo-Environmental Consultant will be 50/50 split between site and office in Warwick (with some home working) helping to manage projects on a technical, commercial and financial basis. Full training and chartership mentoring on offer.
This Geo-Environmental Consultant include project t management of both ground investigation activities and technical reporting including; phase 1, design/management/delivery of phase 2 investigations, interpretative reporting (combined), development of remedial strategies, generic and quantitative risk assessments for human health and validation reports. You will also gain geotechnical and earthworks experience.
To proceed as a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you must be situated local to Warwick and will be expected that you have the following:
1st degree in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics/geoenvironmental engineering or related geo-science.
At least 1 year experience within the UK completing 2 site investigations, logging soil & rock samples & site monitoring.
Experience working with different types of rigs.
Ability to deliver reports on a factual and/or interpretive basis (ideally).
Understand the process of delivering a Geo-Environmental or Geotechnical projects through site investigation stages.
Have a full UK driving license.
