A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a Transport and Infrastructure team in London.
The team delivers a wide variety of consultancy services to a large client base, both local and national. You will work across multiple sectors, across all stages of the clients’ projects, from inception through to commission.
You will be working on challenging projects simultaneously and will have extensive experience undertaking preliminary and detailed designs of roads, levels, drainage, and external works in both the public and private realm.
They work on multidisciplinary projects across the transport, residential, commercial, industrial, educational, health and retail sectors. Clients range from national developers and contractors to public sector bodies. They aim to create a challenging work environment, that provides enjoyment and a real sense of satisfaction, with a view to encourage personal and professional development in their staff.
You should have a keen interest in developing your understanding and ability in Civil Engineering design and willingness to research and take on new challenges. You should be able to work independently and use your engineering judgement to tackle day to day problems, delegate task and show desire to develop junior members of the team.
You should be fully confident with industry software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage. Experience liaising with both internal and external bodies is required e.g., the Environment Agency. Good commercial awareness with the ability to develop new business and nurture current clients.
