Position: Development Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Package
Capstone are working on behalf of a leading London based developer focussed on the industrial sector to recruit a Development Manager to work alongside the Development Director in the delivery of projects across London. This is a true client-side role working with the acquisition team to deliver development appraisals through to working with external consultants and design teams to monitor projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing development company with exposure to the full development cycle and to be the client.
The Role:
As Development Manager, the role will be to work closely with the acquisition and design team to take projects from acquisition, design, fit out through to completion working closely with all stakeholders. Our client has a strong pipeline of projects both new build and refurbishment. The role will be to manage planning, procurement, the contractor on site and working with specialist consultancy teams to deliver projects on time and on budget to a high specification with a strong emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency. Previous experience delivering industrial or shed like projects would be advantageous.
About you:
- Ideally you will be degree educated
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction.
- Previous experience working on industrial projects
- Detail orientated, able to lead, manage and coordinate several projects at once
- Pragmatic, professional and respectful
- Able to motivate and manage external consultancy teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
