As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding their market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
– Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
– Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships and opportunities.
– Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including entering new markets and launching new products.
– Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by offering insights, resources, and strategies to help achieve targets.
– Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and industry experts.
– Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business development initiatives and company objectives.
– Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies.
– Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities.
– Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
– Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies impacting the packaging industry.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
– Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the packaging industry.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
