Supply Chain Systems & Project Manager, Harrogate, Circa £60,000 + Benefits

This is a new role within the structure, so offers the opportunity to really make the role your own. You will report into the Head of Supply Chain and work closely with IT developers to see your vision come to life from cradle to grave.
So, what will be involved in the role?
You will be initially responsible for ensuring that all systems including the MRP system (AX2012 moving to Dynamics 365) are best in class and fit for purpose. You will oversee the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 to ensure it is as seamless as possible. You will review, adapt and implement best practice across the company helping ensure the companies continued success as they grow throughout a global expansion plan.
Part of your role with be supporting clients with new system integrations; having a supply chain background will allow to understand what is needed for the client and you will partner the IT development team to bring solutions to life and conduct relevant testing.
You’ll achieve this by utilising your hands on supply chain knowledge and your passion for systems working with the aid of modern tech/software.
You’ll be based at the Harrogate head office and split your time across office working and work from home.

What are we looking for?
Ideally you’ll have a strong supply chain background working in best in class organisations, with demonstrable experience reviewing existing systems and testing and implementing new systems.
As expected with a role of this nature, you will need to be passionate about systems and implementing best practice with the ability to influence those around you.
Having a background working with systems within a multi-site manufacturing operation with global distribution would be extremely desirable but not essential.
