Director of Operations – superb opportunity! Are you looking to join an organisation with a purpose? Our client is a research and design charity dedicated to improving outcomes in children and young people’s lives. This role will truly make a difference. As Director of Operations, you will bring excellent organisational, people and administrative skills as well as strong financial, budgeting and governance experience to ensure the successful day-to-day operational running of the charity .
The Director of Operations responsibilities include: –
People, Culture and Human Resources
Promoting a safe, inclusive working environment
Monthly and annual financial reporting and forecasting
Overseeing an organisational budget of c£2m (staff costs and overheads)
Procurement and sub-contracting, including projects
Information Technology provision for the team
Organisational compliance and governance (including GDPR)
Logistics and event management
Supporting a team working remotely across the country
The Director of Operations Requirements Include : –
At least 5 years’ working at a senior level, ideally with third sector experience
A judicious mix of experience, practicality, flexibility, and mental agility to help the leadership team adapt and deliver their ambitions.
A strategic thinker who can communicate exceptionally well with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
Experienced and savvy operational leader who feels completely comfortable managing activities at Board level but who is also able to roll up their sleeves, work independently and get stuck into the day-to-day practical smooth running of the charity
Package for The Director of Operations:
Up to £75k DOE
Hybrid working – 2-3 days office/home
