CB3 Associates Ltd Looking for Developing Paraplanner at Leeds Full Time

The Company: A rapidly expanding, nationally renowned IFA firm based in Central Leeds who are looking to add a Trainee Paraplanner to their technical support team. Hubbed in Leeds with strong transport links via the train and bus routes you will be joining an expanding firm who model themselves on providing holistic, independent, whole of market financial advice with high quality service and support to all clientele.

The Role: The role will involve working on complex and diverse caseloads in support of multiple advisers working nationwide from a paraplanning support perspective. You be will be required to perform the following duties:

• Assess new business submitted based on information presented by the adviser and record new cases in the virtual administration service recording system.

• Assess new business based on fact find and adviser information.
• Liaise with advisers to obtain accurate information to complete cases.
• Produce suitability letter and present case provide feedback to individual advisers.
• Maintain and update the virtual administration service recording system.

• Implement the research support provided by third party researchers

• Undertake whole of market product research as required by the business.

• Answer general Compliance, financial planning, technical, product and T&C related queries.
• Develop technical knowledge as agreed with Director of Regulation to support further development of self and team.

Home-Working Flex: Yes – Up to 3/4 days WFH with presence in the office required at least once per week

The Person: Will ideally be progressing towards QCF level 4 Diploma (Part-Qualified) and be looking to further your career within a paraplanning environment having had some experience of technical research within a private wealth space, as well as exposure to compiling basic suitability reports.The opportunity to progress down technical routes whether that be technical paraplanning or file review will be readily available medium-term, with the role suiting someone chipping away at their Diploma quals currently and holding some basic research/report writing experience career-to-date.
