Position description
Cescor UK is recruiting for a graduate materials and corrosion engineer, capable of delivering project work in accordance with technical procedures and international normatives within an agreed schedule and budget.
Main responsibilities
– Development of material and corrosion assessment studies for onshore / offshore structures
– Development and review of material, welding and coating specifications
– Support in preparation of technical and commercial offers
– Management and development of relationship with clients
Education
– MSc or PhD in materials science, corrosion, metallurgy or similar discipline is essential
Requirements
– Good knowledge of corrosion and metallurgy principles
– Basic understanding of technical standards and normatives
– Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Positive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement
– MSc Distinction grade or PhD will be considered as an advantage
