About us
Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We are a global movement of people, churches and local organisations who passionately champion dignity, equality and justice worldwide. We are the changemakers, the peacemakers, the mighty of heart.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the ambitious and high performing philanthropy team at Christian Aid. You will have oversight of both the mid-value and major donor programmes – growing income from our top level individual donors and prospects and guiding the team to success.
Building on recent success, you will continue momentum to take income to the next level by devising and implementing key strategies and to be directly accountable for the team achieving targets. You will also work with key stakeholders at all levels across the organisation and beyond to address the blockers and proactively pursue opportunities for growth.
About you
A strategic manager, you have either experience in delivering income growth in either a major donor or mid value programme and the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team to deliver. As someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, you have the ability to represent Christian Aid and have personal experience of influencing high net-worth individuals and key stakeholder relationships, including those at a senior level.
