CK GROUP Looking for Quality Engineer at Leamington Spa Full Time

CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a global medical device technology company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Leamington Spa on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary:
£17.00 per hour PAYE

Our client takes a pioneering approach to the design of advanced medical products and services, holding lead positions in Orthopaedics Reconstruction, Wound Management and Sports Medicine.

Location:
Our clients Leamington Spa site focuses on the development and production of their Orthopaedic products including joint replacement systems for knees, hips and shoulders.

Quality Engineer Role:

• Support for production projects and process improvements
• Assist in the management of the CAPA system
• Investigate non-conformances
• Help to develop Statistical Process control within the manufacturing facility
• Create and maintain metrology programs for a range of precision metrology equipment Surface Finish Analyzer, Air Gages and inspection techniques such as, Roundness Testing, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM’s).

Your Background:

• Working experience in quality engineering, specifically with medical devices or other precision metal manufacturing industries
• Experience with CAPAs, Non-Conformances and Route Cause Analysis
• Familiarity with metrology equipment such as Surface Finish Analyzer, Air Gages as well as inspection techniques such as, Roundness Testing, and coordinate measuring machines
• Ability to work in a team
