Conrad Connect Looking for Accounts Assistant at Southend-On-Sea, Essex Full Time

Conrad Connect are pleased to be working with a successful business in Southend on Sea who have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their successful finance team on permanent basis. This excellent opportunity is to support the Finance Director with a variety of Accounts duties whilst also supporting the wider accounts team as required.

The successful candidate will have previous all-round Accounts experience, ideally be AAT qualified or similar and have good Excel knowledge.

Duties

• Bank Reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Work alongside senior managers to set specific service charge budgets
• Track specific spend against budgets and undertake regular reviews
• Scanning and logging all purchase ledger invoice’s
• Credit control duties as required
• Utility & insurance recharges
• Reconciling sales Invoices
• Supporting the FD and Management Accountant as required

The Candidate will ideally have:

• Previous Accounts experience including Reconciliations, VAT returns and Credit Control experience
• AAT qualifications or similar
• A friendly approach to credit control
• Good phone manner
• Good Excel experience
