Our client, a dynamic and growing Multi-Academy Trust based in the East Midlands, is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to contribute towards the creation of transformational schools through the provision of expert advice, guidance and support to school and trust leaders.
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for implementing the Trust’s financial strategy and ensuring efficient financial assistance and support to Heads of School regarding all aspects of robust financial management. The postholder will assist in budget and forecasting processes including a 5-year strategic plan, together with preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts. The role will also include uploading of prepayments and accruals postings each month and reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts, including payroll and intra company accounts.
You will be a trusted business partner working with key stakeholders such as the Trust Executive team, Central Services, Headteachers, School Business Managers and external contractors.
The successful candidate will have experience of producing management accounts, budget setting and budgetary control, delivering month end processes and reporting. You will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently. AAT qualified or currently studying for the ACCA/CIMA qualification, you will be highly numerate, with exacting attention to detail, be proactive with a positive attitude. Knowledge of PS Financials would be an advantage.
This is an onsite, full time, all year through role.
