AVP, Senior ServiceNow Engineer
£80k – £85k DOE + Benefits + Bonus
Hybrid Working Week: 2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote/WFH

As an award-winning and trusted recruitment partner to one of the world’s most trusted banking groups for more than ten years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join part of their ServiceNow Team at AVP Level.
The Role
-Day-to-day technical management of the ServiceNow Product Suite
-Acting as the central point of contact for all Service Now enhancement and integrations requests
-Translating business requirements into ServiceNow technical solutions
-Act as an SME on the ServiceNow Platform / Modules and be an escalation point for junior staff.
-Provide technical governance, guidance and approval of changes submitted for review
-Ensure the platform remains in a supported version by raising relevant requests for funding and project approval in a timely manner for management consideration and submission.
-Ensure overall support structure is sufficient to meet requirements for delivery of product set
-Creating and delivering technical roadmaps
-Work with process owners to ensure smooth transition of future process automations/integrations
-Ensure the latest enhancements provided as part of platform releases are utilised by identifying improvements and enhancements that will deliver measurable cost savings to the group.
-Responsibility for Audit / IT Security requirements and for creating / maintaining Policy, Process, Procedure and Reference Material documentation.
Requirements / Expectations
-ServiceNow Certified (ServiceNow Certified System Administrator as minimum)
-ITIL Certified (ITIL Foundation as minimum)
-Preferably prior experience with Cobit Governance
-Agile Development Experience
-Process development and documentation experience
-Excellent written/verbal skills (able to document and articulate key issues)
-Can confidently participate in white board type design and review sessions
Hybrid Working Model: You will spend two days a week on-site in the EMEA HQ in Central London (EC2Y / Moorgate Tube) with the remaining three days working remotely from home, as part of the bank’s commitment to a long-term hybrid working model.
