Management Accountant

Our client is a fast-growing Cyber Security services company, that has a strong track record for delivering complex security and privacy projects and providing excellent customer service.

The Management accountant role supports the finance team and will be responsible for the areas set out below alongside adhoc duties as required by the CFO.
Responsibilities:
• Management of expense and supplier invoice processing
• Payment approvals for supplier payment runs and expenses – as needed.
• Month end processing for costs and associated accruals
• Completion of accounting entries for the Holding Companies
• Production on monthly departmental P&L reports – including but not limited to revenue analysis, cost reporting, marketing spend analysis
• Working with non-finance managers and department heads to control costs and drive performance
• Identification of areas for process improvements within finance and driving the implementation of efficiency improvements
• Supporting the CFO in collation of the budgets and forecasts by managing the inputs from the departments
• Reviewing project profitability and identifying areas for improvement/lessons learnt
• Providing support to the wider business on financial analysis as required
• Preparation of commission calculations for signoff by Head of Sales
• Team management of Finance officer and Junior Finance Assistant
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations and collation of actions for each month
• Business support to key client teams in collation of weekly data, timesheet information and billing analysis.

• Proficient at MS Office, particularly with Word and Excel Essential
• Desirable experience with an accounting software
