Our client has a vacancy for an electrically biased Lead Engineer to join their team at their site in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. This is a brand-new site with warehouse automation equipment that is at the forefront of technology. The successful Lead Engineer will initially be responsible for establishing the new site, ensuring all machinery and departments are fully operational for the scheduled opening in 2024. Once the site is fully operational, the successful Lead Engineer will lead a small team of engineers and carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs to the machinery on site.

Lead Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up a brand-new site including stores department, engineering workshop and offices on customer site.
Ensure customer management is fully informed of maintenance and repairs on site.
Provide high standards of equipment reliability and technical systems availability.
Electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and PPM.
Responsible for spare parts levels, including usage, inventory levels, ordering and replenishment and receipts.
