Projects Manager – Capital Investment

To develop URS, source, install and validate a selection of key business assets. Ensuring that all investments were delivered right first time within budget and zero health and safety incidents.

Purpose of the role:

To deliver an agreed number of capital investment projects. The scope of these projects is from conceptual design, business case development through to successful project delivery. All financial deliverables and functional business improvements as outputs from the projects will be the responsibility of the project manager to control and deliver right first time and to specification.

Key responsibilities:

• Create URS for each project.
• Monitor and track all costs against each project to ensure budget delivery
• Ensure designs fully meet the user requirement specification and overall business need.
• Ensure all assets are delivered and installed safely, right first time with no incidents or LTI’s
• Provide the Operations Director with a fortnightly report on project progress, against agreed templates and metrics.
• Ensure full engagement with all stakeholders within the business.
• Work with OEM’s and suppliers to develop the right business solutions.

Competencies required:

• A proven record in successful capital investment project delivery.
• Use of MS tools.
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of producing User Requirement Specifications to tender
• IOSH qualified/ Engineering qualification – HNC or degree qualified desirable but not essential if career history is sufficient.
