Our Chesterfield based client is a market leader within its industry and due to continued growth are now recruiting for an Accounts Clerk to join their team.

The role will include:

• Bookkeeping and general accounting
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
• Operating data terminals calculators and other standard office equipment
• Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail
• Processing high volume of supplier invoices for payment in accordance with the terms of supply
• Processing BACS and cheque payment runs, expenses forms etc
• Operating automated systems
• Dealing with supplier and employee enquiries
• Set up new supplier accounts
• Chasing documentation and credit notes
• Provide administrative assistance to accountants

Requirements: 

• Previous Purchase Ledger / Accounts Clerk experience preferably within a fast paced environment
• Excellent organisational skills
• Intermediate excel skills
• Great customer service skills
• Good IT skills 

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 09:00am – 17:30pm and Fridays 09:00am – 17:00pm.

Starting salary: £23,000 – £24,000 Per Annum.

This role is Full time, Permanent.
