What’s the purpose of role:

To support the Operations team of the units and Finance team.

Who you’ll deal with:

Internal: Operations, Procurement, Central Finance, Central Support Functions

External: Suppliers, Customers

What you’ll be doing:

• Read and manipulate complex data (airline flying programmes)
• Creating databases for storage and future access
• Present weekly reviews of actual and forecasted activity to Operations teams (Theoretical Hours, actuals)
• Produce Purchase orders using SAP and monitor your unit’s variable spends
• Assist any Supplier quarries regarding payment
• Track, Collate and report the financial impact of any overspends
• Continuous improvement of the reporting processes and procedures
• Support in preparation of weekly/monthly/annual forecasts and budgets with commentary and analysis
• Responsible for Month End close activities to meet dnata deadlines and providing commentary
• Provide support and assistance to Operations teams, Senior Managers, Business Partners by fielding questions and requests, gathering data and generating reports

What you’ll have:

• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Advanced Excel skills and good IT skills
• A proactive approach and a ‘can do’, collaborative attitude.
• Ability to multitask
• Resilience & enthusiasm to investigate issues and solve problems

What you’ll receive:

• £13.50 per hour
• 40 hours per week with the option to work from home certain days of the week 
• Free lunch or breakfast provided whilst on shift

Inline with the Cival Authority regulations you will be required to undergo a full five year background check including criminal record checks prior to commencing employment
