Driver Hire are actively searching for HGV class 2 drivers to work with a number of well established businesses based in the St Helens and Warrington area.
We are looking for reliable, self-motivated and flexible HGV drivers to support a range of our clients on a daily basis. These businesses are responsible for delivering a range of products, including steel, timber, insulation, tools and more.
A typical days work will involve starting at around 7am and working 8-10 hour shifts. A premium overtime rate will be applied to all work exceeding 8 hours each day. You will NOT be required to work weekends, as all work is completed Monday to Friday.
We require all class 2 drivers to be in possession of valid tacho & CPC cards, we also cannot accept any applicants with DR, IN or DD endorsement codes on their licence.
The majority of our vacancies will involve some handball during most deliveries, however we do have a number of roles that involve no lifting.
