The successful Learning Support Assistant will have a strong academic background with a 2:1 degree or above. It is also essential that you have a passion to work with pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. The ideal applicant will have experience of working with pupils with additional needs or supporting pupils within an educational capacity.
Learning Support Assistant Role
This role involves supporting pupils in different classes who are struggling academically and require interventions. Therefore it is expected that you will be able to help pupils in all subjects effectively. You will act as Key Worker for named students and be accountable for their progress and development, record, report and evaluate the impact of interventions and support given and deliver interventions for learning, social and emotional needs.
