Responsibilities – Electrical (Design) Engineer:
* Responsible for the electrical design of our range of different products
* Assist in the preparation of electrical system & equipment specifications
* Support with testing and development of existing and new products
* Ability to convert customer specifications into electrical design plans
* Responsible for electrical component selection to satisfy project needs
* Contribute towards standardisation of electrical parts & sub-assemblies
* Support internal & external customers with electrical related inquiries
Requirements – Electrical (Design) Engineer:
* BEng or HND in electrical engineering or recognised apprenticeship
* Proven experience in designing electrical systems for industrial use
* Experience with set-up and commissioning of inverter drive systems
* Proven ability to learn and adapt from a solid technical base
* Experience with EPlan electrical drawing package is highly desirable
* Designing & writing PLC and HMI programs is desirable but not essential
* Good understanding of BS 7671
