Elite HR Looking for Quality Inspector at Portsmouth , Hampshire Full Time

We are currently working with one of our clients – A precision engineering company based in Portsmouth for a Quality Inspector.

Responsibilites will include ensuring that components produced adhere to an established quality standard, are checked and findings recorded along with company procedures.

Duties will include dimentionally inspecting manufactured and purchased products using a variety of measuring equipment/s to engineering drawings and inspection control plans. Manually and electronically recording and storing results, calibrating measuring equipment and managing systems, using Visual FAIR, verniers and calipers and experience of Lean manufacturing standards would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also need to be an interactive team player, facilitate training and guidance within the quality department and follow company procedures in line with the company Health & safety policies.

Suitable applicants will need to be able to demonstrate Inspection experience gained from within an engineering or manufacturing background. 

The role will be 39hrs per week on a day shift pattern with overtime available and there is parking available on site. The pay rate is dependent on experience and this position will be temporary to permanent.
