A successful and stable firm based in North Hertfordshire is looking to continue its expansion by taking on a Senior Accountant. With a varied client base, you will deal with Small and Medium-sized clients with turnovers ranging from 500k to £25m+ it is expected you will have strong commercial acumen and an ability to communicate with those at multiple levels including Directors and on-site finance. Exposure to both is highly desirable.You MUST be qualified with two or more years post qualification experience. Responsible for:* End to end management of client relationships* Managing junior members of the team* Review of teams work* Compliance and planning * Planning work diaries to suit client requirements* Management of overseas outsourced team* Preparation and completion of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.* Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.* Liaison with the HMRC.Required Attributes:* Five or more years of exposure in Public Practice * Qualified ACA/ACCA * Highly organised.* Strong communication skills.* Knowledge of multiple accounting systems such as IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.Elusive’s ViewA local and secure practice in which you can get your head down and provide value to a multitude of clients.
