Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Edinburgh EH2
Salary range: 38-45k DOE
Hours: Full-time, permanent

The Energy sector is currently going through an exciting transitional phase and out client is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the new opportunities and market dynamics. We are currently working with global energy companies and system integrators to test and deploy their sensors and digital applications across traditional industries like O&G, to reduce emissions, and new high-growth sectors like Carbon Capture & Storage and Hydrogen.

Role summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in realising the company’s industrial sensing and instrumentation products. As a competent mechanical design engineer, you will be the focal point for the conception and design through to realisation of high-quality mechanical parts and robust assemblies.
You will either be working collaboratively with other internal and external engineers to produce holistic solutions to complex and demanding requirements for products that will be expected to survive in harsh environments. Other times you will be empowered to find a solution and complete a task on your own. Due to the company’s growth stage, you will be exposed to a diverse range of challenges and opportunities to further your career.
