City base Law firm are looking for Hands on Technical Lead – Azure Developer to lead a team of highly skilled professionals, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge data solutions on the Azure platform.

90% Remote with 2 or 3 times a month in the London office.

You will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of scalable and efficient data architecture on the Azure platform in collaboration with the data architecture team.

Skills Needed

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, LogicApps, PowerShell and Power BI.
• Manage and secure structured and unstructured data flows from multiple
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/GIT

Responsibilities:

Leadership

• Mentor and coach team members to improve skills and gain experience
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Deputise for the Head of Data & Analytics when necessary.

Architecture & Design

• Work closely with solution architects to ensure alignment with overall system architecture.
• Evaluate and recommend Azure services and tools based on project requirements.
• Develop end-to-end systems with a focus on long-term maintenance and support.
• Maintain expert knowledge of technology platforms and implement innovations.
• Evaluate and recommend Azure services and tools based on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications related to data and analytics.
• Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics on Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for data engineering.
