Five Education is supporting a special school near Swindon. They cater to children of all ages who have a variety of needs such as Autism, SLD, and PMLD. The children’s needs and abilities really can vary in complexities therefore there will likely be a class to suit every teacher!

Responsibilities and duties:
Be passionate about teaching children and young people with SEN.
Ready for the challenge and excitement.
The successful SEN Teacher will plan creative lessons in accordance with the student’s EHCP with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents’ evenings.
Comfortable reporting back to parents, teachers, and programme consultants via a structured format as well as via phone calls, notes, and regular monthly and termly meetings.
To promote the physical, educational and moral development of the students.

Essential Criteria:
Have QTS.
The SEN Teacher chosen for this role will need knowledge of national curriculum requirements at Primary and Secondary and inclusive of SEN differentiation too.
The ideal SEN Teacher for this role will demonstrate a willingness to explore new ideas that contribute to the development of a learning culture in the school.
Newly qualified teachers will be considered for this SEN Teacher role making this a fantastic opportunity to gain experience.
Available 3 – 5 days Mon-Fri, from 8:30-15:30.
Daily rate £118-125 including holiday pay.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fees or employers’ NI. We are also proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
