Fortis Recruitment Solutions Looking for Electro-Mechanical Assembler at Basingstoke Full Time

My client, a leading engineering company based close to Basingstoke are currently looking to recruit a Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their experienced team on a full time, permanent basis. Candidates must have previous and recent Mechanical Assembly experience.

Main Duties of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler:

• Assembly of mechanical components.
• Self-inspection and testing.
• Ability to problem solve in a logical manner.
• Final inspection of finished products with a strong commitment to quality.
• Kitting and simple assembly (including picking and storage of goods).
• Complete necessary paperwork.

Candidate skills of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler:

• Ability to interpret and implement instructions and drawings.
• Be able to demonstrate dexterity.
• Have the ability to work to tight tolerances using small parts.
• Being a Time served mechanical / craft apprentice would be very desirable but certainly not essential.

Hours of work are 07.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 – 12.30 on Friday covering a total of 39 hours per week.

My client is offering a competitive salary dependent on level of experience, between £23,000 – £25,000 per annum with scope to improve on this in the future.
