This is a permanent position. Reporting to the structural and architectural director, this role will typically see you working out at sites 3 to 4 times a week with a day or 2 working in the office in Braintree. Your main purpose will be to undertake the supervision of the working sites, ensure all crews (typically 2 to 3 in size) are present and on time, all health and safety is adhered to and more.
What will I be doing?
You will be in charge of multiple construction sites which are mostly situated around the Northern and Eastern parts of London, stretching out to Braintree, Cambridge, Battersea and to further locations such as Ashford. You need to ensure all the sites are completing the desired work on time and in a safe environment. Completing risk assessments in the process, ensuring all site teams are appraised, creating and monitoring site specific method statements, liaising all updates to the structural and architectural director, this will be done on a 121 basis as well as attending site meetings.
What do I need?
- A background in the construction industry is required.
- Health & Safety and risk assessment/audit understanding.
- Previous leadership and understanding of construction sites.
- Outstanding communication and time-keeping skills must need.
- A keen attitude, willing to learn and develop.
