Fraser Carver Executive Search Looking for Head of Sales (Insurance & Mortgages) at London Full Time

My clients offering is insurance and mortgage focused, as such we are looking for an ambitious and process-driven mid-senior individual with a background in financial services sales to help us achieve the revenue potential and take charge of our existing sales and mortgage advice team of 7 and grow this team around them.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sales function for all product offerings, including insurance, mortgage advice and compliance products.
• Direct the Sales team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Investigate factors impacting sales performance.
• Work with Product to define and establish an optimal CRM setup.
• Lead the company in establishing a physical office environment in Reading.
• Provide input on sales incentive structure and key performance indicators to help monitor targets.
• Help formulate and implement a hiring and training strategy for new agents, excluding mortgage advisors.
• Review sales performance by analysing performance reports.
• Formulate the annual sales plan including specific objectives for each product line.
• Collaborate with Product Development teams in the continued development and enhancement of new products and services to situate the company in a competitive position.
• Achieve revenue and growth objectives and targets.

Ideal Candidate

• 7+ years’ experience of working within financial services sales, insurance is preferred.
• Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams to achieve revenue growth.
• Process-driven individual, prior experience with overseeing synergies between sales and CS.
• Extensive understanding of working within a regulated environment.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to drive through leadership and connect with the rest of the business segments.
• Hands-on approach and ability to drive and own team performance and development.
• Experience and knowledge of the mortgage advice market is a plus.
• We are looking for someone to “move fast and break things”, energetic, and open to the technology, rather than a corporate careerist.

Location:

• This role will be a hybrid working pattern between London, Reading and home. (Potentially 2 days per week in Reading)
